Message: I recently visited Brown's Small Engine shop and was thoroughly impressed with the honestly and knowledge of the owner. I had taken my riding mower to another shop (which will go unnamed) and was told that the problem was a minor one but they wouldn't be able to get to it for 6 - 8 weeks. But Mr. Brown looked at my mower and told me the my problem was a major one and would cost more to fix than the mower was worth. I really appreciate the time that he took explaining the problem and the options that I had. Thank you, sir! If I need service on the next mower I have, I will certainly make the drive from Higden to your shop..

Message: They serve an awesome Cobb salad. I had it with the guacamole and lime dressing. Hoghly recomend it. The only thing I didn't like is, it is very noisy in there. I guess I'm just used to eating in a quiet atmosphere. A bit old-fashioned.
