Message: This place is great! First of all it is HUGE. If you can't find what you're looking for here you're probably not going to have much luck finding it anywhere in central Arkansas. They have the usual wagons and carts that can be pulled around as a customer shops but they also have numerous GOLF CARTS. Yes, golf carts for their customers to use while shopping (some with shelfs on the back to hold bigger cargo such as larger plants. The carts aren't for rent, you just hop in one and start shopping. That kind of tells you a little about how big this nursery actually is. All the plants are well maintained and healthy. They have numerous employees tending to the ground, inventory, and available to help customers with questions. They have the typical bulk items as well such as soil, mulch, sand, rocks, etc. My wife loves to shop at these nurseries and she seems to always come home with some type of purchase. She has been known to frequent the Good Earth Center in Little Rock, and it is a very nice business in every way. This place is equally as nice but just bigger and thus more overall selection to choose from. Oh, and even though we walked the premises the golf cart concept is really an over the top amenity. We saw numerous customers taking advantage of the easy way to get around while plant shopping.

Message: Always the best service! The staff is friendly and helpful. They are always eager to assist with anything you need. I've used them as my preferred nursery for several years now. I've never been let down.

Message: As a parent this place is soooo great! They have golf carts so I can get what I need and still keep my kids thoroughly entertained. There is also a little play area. There is so much to see, including a lot of native wildlife. They have a huge plant selection, as well as, landscaping materials. Most of the time, when I compare, their prices have beat out all the others. The people who work here really know their stuff. They also try hard not to keep plants that won't grow successfully in the Little Rock area, which I appreciate because my thumb may not be the right color for gardening, maybe more of a yellow than a green. ;).

Message: They have everything. Going back for my lemon tree in a few weeks. I have my eye on a few camelias, I just have to make a choice. You could spend hours here looking for beautiful flowers, shrubs, fruit trees, perennials, annuals, pots, garden art, wind chimes, other trees. They have all the mulch and rocks you could dream of. They have your irrigation needs as well. They were super helpful and drove us around looking for hardy hibiscus. They were very knowledgeable. I can't say enough nice things about our experience.

Message: Is this place a reasonable distance, yes? Is this place one of the best locations to get your plants, yes. I and my master gardener friends adore this place. if you are looking for azaleas or encore azaleas, they have 2 dedicated green houses that are about a hundred meters long for each of them for a total of four green houses with nothing but beautiful azaleas. If you are looking for a specific perennial or annual, this is your best bet. They are also a good source of mulch, dirt, soil, gravel. They're local and you can even pilots your own golf carts - responsibly I hear - as they have several for customers because the place is so big. As you can see from the pictures, they also have full line of garden implements as well as electronics for gardening and a very knowledgeable staff to help you with your questions. It sounds like I'm over selling this place, but I'm fairly confident that anyone who likes gardening and plants the way I do will love this place.

Message: I love this Nursery, it's so Huge and has the largest selection of plants I have ever seen. Even though there are several other Nursery's around the little rock area there is no reason to go anywhere other than River Valley. The staff is so polite and helpful, the owner comes out and helps just like any other staff member, there are golf carts so you can see the whole garden and it's numerous green houses with ease not to mention not having to carry plants around.. This trip I just came for topsoil and super soil. I like to mix my topsoil and super soil together. I arrived with only 5 minutes to spare but I wasn't treated like I was a bother because I had arrived late instead the young man helping me got me in and out no hassle at all.. This is my go to place for all things landscaping. Check out what I used my topsoil to do! I already had the rocks but just an FYI River Valley sales those too. This was a very steep hill that was just eroding away. I built 3 terraces and back filled with topsoil then mixed in supersoil. It's not done yet I need more dirt and plants. that's next weekend.
